Bio
Muhammad Baqir Hashmi is currently working as a PhD Research Fellow at Department of Energy and Petroleum Engineering, University of Stavanger, Norway. His research focuses numerical and experimental performance assessment of hydrogen fueled gas turbines. He completed a Masters by Research degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. During his masters, he was involved in an industry funded project "Transient modeling and intelligent fault diagnosis of variable geometry industrial gas turbines". He holds a BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan. He also served as a Metering Engineer in Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), Pakistan. His research work is published in peer reviewed international journals. His future research interests involve Gas Turbine's Performance, hydrogen energy, and renewable energy systems.
