Centre for Innovation Research
The Centre for Innovation Research investigates how firms and economies innovate and its consequences for business and societal development.
The Centre for Innovation Research conducts research on innovation policy and practice. It organises a community of scholars conducting research on innovation from across faculties at the University of Stavanger and at NORCE.
Through combining research at a leading international level with relevance for firms and policy makers, the Centre aims to be a hub for knowledge on innovation both for the academic community and the world of practice.
The Centre conducts interdisciplinary research focused on the fields of innovation studies, economics, management, geography, regional studies, and entrepreneurship, and examines innovation in public and private organisations, as well as innovation policy.
