The book Research Handbook on Older Workers and Occupational Health and Safety is a comprehensive volume that presents new perspectives on aging, work environments, and occupational health and safety.
The book offers both theoretical insights and practical approaches to promoting healthy and sustainable working lives for older employees.
Panel discussion
As part of the launch, a panel discussion will be held with:
- Prof. Gro Ellen Mathisen, contributing author
- Kari Østerud, Director, Kunnskapssenter for lengre arbeidsliv
- Prof. Annet H. de Lange, editor
- Prof. Trude Furunes, editor
The panel will address key themes from the book, including:
- Challenges and opportunities related to an aging workforce
- How workplaces can be adapted to support older workers’ health, safety, and participation
- Policy implications and future directions for research and practice
The discussion will conclude with an open question-and-answer session with the audience.
