On behalf of the Group for Inorganic and Materials Chemistry of the Norwegian Chemical Society (NKS-FUM), we are pleased to invite you to the annual meeting 2025. This event will highlight all aspects of inorganic and materials chemistry, spanning from fundamental science to applied research.

Dates: December 3-4, 2025

Programme highlights

Invited lectures: 40 minutes (including 10 minutes for discussion)
Contributed talks: 20 minutes (including 5 minutes for discussion)
Poster session: Day 1, following the NKS-FUM General Assembly (open to all participants). Poster prize sponsored by our partners
Conference dinner: Day 1, at restaurant spiseriet in Stavanger Concert Hall, enjoying a renowned food city celebrated for its vibrant culinary scene, from traditional Norwegian cuisine to modern fine dining.

Sola Airport to Ydalir Hotel

Taxi: Available right outside the terminal building at the airport. Travel time 20-30 min. Estimated price NOK 450-600 (one trip from the airport to Stavanger city). Bus (flybuss): Be aware to choose “route via UiS”. Departure every 20 min. Travel time to Stavanger, 20-30 min. Buss station at UiS, “UiS Øst” or ”UiS ved Kjølv Egelands hus”. You can buy the cheapest tickets online, or on board with Visa, Mastercard with an extra fee. Online one-way ticket NOK 179 per person; online tour-retour ticket NOK 264 per person. Ticket with QR code must be provided throughout the trip. The ticket must be presented in paper print or PDF on your mobile/tablet.
