Modelling of CO2 injection in tight shale gas reservoirs

Dhruvit Berawala's PhD project deals with numerical modelling of shale gas production and CO2 injection in shale gas reservoirs for enhanced recovery.

Berawala has defended a doctoral degree at the Faculty of Science and Technology. His research is on modeling gas extraction and CO2 injections in tight reservoirs.

The title of the dissertation is «Numerical Modeling of Gas Production and CO2 Injection in Tight Shale Reservoirs for Enhanced Gas Recovery».

Berawala was affiliated with The National IOR Centre of Norway, which works to improve the recovery of petroleum resources on the Norwegian continental shelf.

He defended his dissertation November 24th, 2020.
