This international event merged a scientific conference with a competitive platform, aiming to highlight and reward outstanding research across the engineering disciplines.

The Olympiad offered researchers a unique opportunity to present original work, engage in interdisciplinary dialogue, and connect with leading experts from around the world. Submissions have been evaluated by an international scientific committee, and the top five papers was awarded Olympiad Medals. Additional honors include the prestigious Archimedes Medal and the Timoshenko Lifetime Achievement Medal, recognizing exceptional scientific contributions.

The conference was opened by Honorary Chair Professor Hojjat Adeli (Ohio State University), a globally recognized authority in engineering science. Supported by the City of Stavanger, OES 2025 emphasized innovation, sustainability, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
