About the conference: The annual European Conference on Information Retrieval is the European forum for the presentation of new research results in the field of Information Retrieval. Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science hosted ICTIR (International Conference on the Theory of Information Retrieval) earlier this autumn. The conference was fully digital, and everything was managed from Krisztian Balog's office.

Hopefully the conference in 2022 will gather people from all over Europe in Stavanger.

Good luck on the preparations!
