How is the risk engineering in an Insurance Company undertaken and what are important aspects? This Hub Meeting will try to highlight terms and techniques applied in this matter.
Hub Meeting, Tuesday April 13, 14:00 - 15:30
Ruben Pedersen from ORS Consulting will in this CIAM Hub Meeting look into risk engineering in the insurance business.
Risk engineering in the insurance industry has traditionally focused on common well-known risks such as natural hazards, fire risks and business interruption. Many insurance companies have formed clear guidelines in which they assess and grade their Clients based on such risks. There are several risk factors that are evaluated based on e.g. site-visits, worst case scenario evaluations and risk improvement actions when working with the Insured. While the risk-focus may seem more management based and advisory, there are several similarities to traditional HSE, Quality Assurance, Technical Safety and Fire Safety that are central in Insurance and Risk Engineering. This presentation aims to present how the risk engineering in an Insurance Company is undertaken, what are important aspects, and will try to highlight terms and techniques applied in this matter.
The seminar is digital and takes place on Tuesday, April 13 from 14:00 - 15:30.
There will be an open discussion after the presentation of the subject. Members of CIAM will receive an invitation for this event. If you don’t get the invitation, send an email to email@example.com to registrer.
