After 20 years studying and working in British universities, whereof six years as Professor of Organisational Behaviour, Rune Todnem By is joining the University of Stavanger Business School as Professor of Leadership.
Rune T. By is the editor-in-chief of Journal of Change Management, co-author and editor of several books on organisational change and leadership, works closely with industry where he is a sought-after keynote speaker, and feels passionately about the EPICally MAD leadership philosophy.
He is keen on further developing our understanding and application of leadership as a verb, something we do rather than something we are, as an important step towards identifying and implementing solutions to many of the challenges we are currently facing as a society (e.g. sustainability, health, education, equality).
Upon his appointment Rune T. By states, “I am truly excited about joining the fantastic team here at UiS Business School and continue the journey towards delivering on our great potential to knowledge generation and dissemination both nationally and internationally.”
