The Research Network for Smart Sustainable Cities at the University of Stavanger is offering a research fellowship for international researchers who wish to spend time at our university.
You will spend a month or more as a visiting researcher at the University of Stavanger with one of the research groups associated with the research network (affiliated research groups can found on our website – scroll down to ‘connected research groups’). The fellowship consist of a lump sum of NOK 56.000 intended to cover cost of travel, accommodation and living expenses. There is no salary.
The research stay should be of at least one month and the researchers is required to be connected to a research group while staying at UiS and will be expected to give an open guest lecture or organize a research seminar during their stay. The research stay should take place before the end of 2023.
The topics can be wide ranging, but should fall within one or more of the thematic areas of the network:
- Education and knowledge
- Arts and culture
- Climate and sustainability
- Mobility and transport
- Democracy and participation
- Innovation and entrepreneurship
- Data and telecommunications
We strongly encourage interdisciplinary research.
