An overview of the opening hours of UiS buildings.
Campus buildings are open from 7:30 am – 6 pm. With a digital or physical access card, you can also enter all buildings between 06:00–07:30 and 18:00–22:30. The digital card also gives you access to the 24-hour library. Most students only need a digital access card. You only need a physical student card if you require access to laboratories or specialised rooms, or if you study at the Faculty of Performing Arts at Campus Bjergsted. All other students are issued a digital access card. Order your access card here. Fill in all required fields and follow the instructions. At 11 pm the buildings alarms are switched on. The university library is not alarmed, and is open 24/7. Students studying at other universites and colleges can register their student card with to gain access to campus buildings and the university library after 6 pm.
