The printing solution at UiS is called uniFLOW Online. This system allows you to print from any printer at UiS.

Print account

You must have activated your IT user account at UiS to use the solution. Once your IT account is activated, you will receive an email from noreply@uis.eu.uniflowonline.com with information about your print account and your personal PIN code. This code is used to log in to the printers at UiS.

To view your print balance and a history of previous print jobs, visit the uniFLOW portal: https://uis.eu.uniflowonline.com/

To log in, select "Continue with UiS – Microsoft 365 Login", then sign in using your username@uis.no and your password.

In the Dashboard tab, you will find an overview of your past prints and the current balance on your account.

  • Primary Wallet: This is the initial quota provided by UiS, currently NOK 25 at the start of your studies.
  • Secondary Wallet: This is your personal wallet where you deposit funds for printing access at UiS. See the next section for current prices.

When you finish your studies at UiS, you can request a refund of your print account balance if it exceeds NOK 200. To do so, send an email to it-hjelp@uis.no including your name, student number, address, bank account number, and the amount you wish to have refunded.

You have two options to top up your print account:

  1. Pay via Vipps or PayPal through the uniFLOW portal:
    Go to https://uis.eu.uniflowonline.com/

In the portal, select "Add funds" under My Budget.

Enter the desired amount (minimum NOK 50, maximum NOK 400) and choose Pay with Quickpay.

You will be redirected to a payment page where you can choose Vipps or PayPal and follow the instructions.

Once the payment is completed, you will be redirected back to the portal, and the funds in your Secondary Wallet will be updated.

  1. Bank transfer to UiS account:
Transfer the desired amount to the following UiS account:
  • Account number (Norway): 7694.05.19655
  • IBAN: NO8576940519663
  • BIC/SWIFT: DNBANOKKXXX

You must then present the receipt to the IT department to have your balance updated.
Send the receipt file to it-hjelp@uis.no or visit the Servicedesk in the KK building.

Please include the following payment details:

  • Name: Student number
  • Unit: 3610
  • Account: 3201
  • Project: IN-10890

Printing at UiS

The uniFLOW web portal can be used to print documents directly from the portal. In addition, it allows you to view which print jobs are currently in the queue and provides statistics on your previous print jobs.

Go to https://uis.eu.uniflowonline.com to log in to the portal.

Skjermbilde av innlogging til portal

To print after logging in to the portal, select "Start printing" from the menu on the left.

You can then either browse to upload the document you want to print, or simply drag and drop it directly from your file explorer.

The document is sent directly to your print queue after being uploaded to the portal and can then be released from any printer of your choice.

To print a document via email, send it as an attachment to mobileprint@uis.eu.uniflowonline.com.
It is important that you send the email from your UiS email account, so the system can correctly identify the document with your user in uniFLOW.

The maximum file size for attachments is 150 MB.
You will receive an email response from noreply@uis.eu.uniflowonline.com confirming that the print job has been received, followed by another notification when the document is ready for pickup.
