Emissions in Norway are decreasing, but not fast enough. What needs to change to transform Norway into a low-emission society? That’s the topic when the University of Stavanger and the Norwegian Climate Foundation invite you to a breakfast meeting on Wednesday, June 11 at 08:15 at the University Library in Stavanger.

The numbers speak for themselves: In recent years, the Norwegian Parliament has adopted a series of goals and ambitions for Norway’s green transition, but almost none of these are on track to be achieved.

With five years left until 2030, and in the final stretch of the current parliamentary term, it's time for some honest self-reflection: Why are we failing to make real progress in Norway’s climate transition?

At the meeting, we’ll present the current status of the transition and hear insights from a range of stakeholders on what they believe it will take to reverse the trend.

Breakfast will be served from 08:00.
