In the TV-series Love Is Blind, people fall in love after talking to each other without seeing one another. It is a utopia come true: love can happen without us evaluating each other's looks. Being beautiful on the inside is the only thing that matters.
Dating apps have also changed our ways of falling in love. We write intensively and to the point where we get hooked. When we meet, we realise that we may have fallen in love with a fantasy.
Psychoanalyst and author Katherine Angel and journalist Elias Håvarstein will talk about blind attraction, dating, gender roles and modern life. Has it become any easier, or is it more difficult than ever?
This event is free for all and a collaboration between Kapittel and the University Library.
Language: English
Tip: Show up at 10:30 a.m. and catch the student concert "We Are Women"
