Pets on campus

The guidelines for pet ownership at the University of Stavanger are tailored to meet the requirements for cleanliness and allergy issues among staff and students.

It is not permitted to bring pets into campus buildings. The prohibition on pets is justified by consideration for individuals with allergies and aims to contribute to a favorable physical work environment for all groups of students and staff.

Exceptions are made for special needs (guide dogs/seeing-eye dogs).
