The University of Stavanger welcomes both new and returning students to celebrate the new academic year.
Here you'll get a taste of what the Stavanger region and UiS have to offer, both when it comes to music, culture, academic engagement, and student involvement.
Rector at UiS, the mayor of Stavanger and student leaders will welcome the students to the university and the city. The awarded UiS Student Choir, Stavanger studentsangforening, will perform, and we'll reveal this year's winner of the University Fund’s Presentation and Community Involvement Award.
Join us when we kick off the enrollment week festival Fadder with a free mini-concert for all students in Stavanger by the up-and-coming local band Vettche! This is an excellent opportunity to meet fellow students and make new friends!
The event takes place on the Ullandhaug campus in the same area as the enrollment week festival.
