University of Stavanger offers a wide range of courses and programs to exchange students enrolled at one of our partner institutions.
On this page you will find the information you need to apply for exchange at University of Stavanger. Please note that these pages are generally directed at semester exchange, not shorter mobilities.
Application and admission
Would you like to extend your exchange at the UiS?
You can stay at UiS as an exchange student for up to one academic year (two semesters). We are happy to extend your exchange, provided you meet the extension requirements.
If you already have student housing through SiS and your extension is approved, we will do our best to let you extend your housing contract for the following semester.
Please note that we do not accept extension requests after the regular application deadline.
From the student: An overview of which courses you plan to attend the following semester
From the home institution: A written confirmation that the extension is approved
Deadline: 1 May (for autumn) and 1 November (for spring)
