Marek Jan Janocha will be defending his thesis on subsea structures.
On Thursday 30 June 2022, Marek Jan Janocha, PhD-candidate with the Faculty of Science and Technology, will be defending his dissertation for the degree of PhD (philosophiae doctor) at the University of Stavanger.
Janocha will be defending the thesis: “CFD Simulations of Fluid-Structure Interactions of Cylindrical Subsea Structures at High Reynolds Numbers”.
Trial lecture and disputation will take place in The University of Stavanger, Kjølv Egeland House, E-164.
Trial lecture at 10:00. Given trial lecture topic: “State-of-Art Analysis Methods on Vortex-induced Motions of Offshore Floating Structures”. Disputation starts at 12:15.
