Tuition fees for the academic year 2023/2024

Students from outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland who start their studies in autumn 2023 are required to pay tuition fees at the University of Stavanger. Below you can find the tuition fees for the different study programmes starting in August 2023. The tuition fees are subject to change and expected to increase for the academic year starting in 2024. The prices for students starting in August 2024 will be published later during 2023.

You are an exchange student

You started your current study before 2023

You have a citizenship from EU/EEA or Switzerland

You have a permanent residence permit in Norway or other special connections to Norway according to the list of exceptions.

Master's degree and other programmes in Technology, Natural Sciences and Performing Arts: 150,000 NOK per academic year (60 ECTS)

Master's degree programmes in Business Administration, Social Science, Humanities, Teacher Education (5 years integrated), all Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Health Science, Bachelor's programme in Television and Multimedia Production and Practical-pedagogical Education (1 year): 125,000 NOK per academic year (60 ECTS)
