A Debate Meeting arranged by the UiS Business School and the Stavanger Chamber of Commerce with Professor Matthias Sutter, one of Europe's leading researchers on management.
Sutter has recently published the book "Behavior Economics for Leaders - Research based insights on the weird, irrational and wonderful way humans navigate the workplace".

Professor Matthias Sutter is in Stavanger as a participant in a research seminar at the Business School at UiS. On this occasion, the business community, students and UiS employees (NB! UiS students and employees must register in Canvas or intranet to get discount) are invited to a breakfast meeting with a professional presentation from Professor Sutter: "Leaders' management skills improve workplace satisfaction and reduce turnover", "Empowering employees helps customers", "Charismatic leaders inspire and raise productivity", and "What do CEOs really do?" .
After the presentation, there will be a debate with representatives from academia and business. From Nysnø, Ingvild Meland, director of strategy and communications, and Arne Seglem Larsen, executive vice president for HR and sustainability, Laerdal Medical. A light breakfast is served before the meeting. The meeting takes place in English in the Elise Ottesen Jensen house where the UiS Business School is located.
