Credits abroad
Canada does not have a standarizes national credit system. At MUN different BA/MA programs might also have different credit hours . Students should therefor choose courses in consultation with their academic coordinator at UiS.
BA level: (normally) 15 credits = 30 ECTS
MA level: ( normally) 9 credits = 30 ECTS

When Norwegian students are going on shorter study stays in Canada (up to 6 months), the passport and admission letter from the institution will be sufficient documentation on entry.
