IKBM Student-Industry Networking Day

Bringing the local business community closer to researchers and students in the Department of Chemistry, Bioscience and Environmental Engineering.

IKBM Netwroking Day 2019 in Tjodhallen Student, researchers, and representatives from companies and organizations mingle during the Marketplace Networking session.

The Department of Chemistry, Bioscience and Environmental Engineering (IKBM), with the help of the student organization, MoBi2C, organizes an annual networking day to build a relationship between the business community, researchers, and students in the department. The event provides students a platform to meet
professionals in their field and learn how to best prepare themselves for careers in the local industry and beyond. 

There are motivating presentations from faculty and alumni, One Minute Madness session where companies and researchers talk about their work for 60 seconds, and a marketplace with stands for networking. The marketplace provides a space where everyone can mingle, exchange ideas, and discuss ways to work together.

This year, the event was held on March 12th, 2019, and over 120 students and researchers came to network with one another and the representatives.
