Anne Margrete Fiskvik


Anne Margrete Fiskvik holds the position as ”Førsteamanuensis” (Assistant Professor). Previously a professional dancer and choreographer, she has pursued an academic career as teacher and researcher. 
She has published extensively in different areas, and served as main editor of the book “Researching the Field(s), (Fagbokforlaget, 2014). An article on dancing masters in Christiania, Norway around 1770, “Information Udi Dans. Danseundervisning i Christiania 1770-1773” will be published shortly by Fagbokforlaget (2015). Some of her most recent publications also include two articles published by Ashgate: ”Working in Nordic Dance Venues” (2014, in Vedel, Karen og Hoppu. Petri.(eds). Nordic Dance Spaces. Practicing and imagining a region,  and ”Halling as a Tool for Nationalist Strategies” (2013, in Dodds, Sherill og Susan Cook. Bodies of Sound. Studies Across Popular Music and Dance).
