Interlibrary loan

Materials not available for loan

The University Library of Stavanger lends materials to libraries worldwide. Our lending policies for loans to libraries outside Norway generally follow the procedures outlined in the IFLA Principles and Guidelines for International Lending. The University Library’s interlibrary loan services are available only to libraries.

The loan period is 2-5 weeks. Renewals will be granted if the item is not requested by another patron.

We accept requests sent by mail, e-mail, fax, phone, BIBSYS, SAMBOK, NOSP, and IFLA request forms.

The following material types are available for interlibrary loan:
· books
· dissertations
· photocopies of journal articles
· musical scores

Search our online catalogue Bibsys Ask to check material availability.
