High participation in library courses

The University Library arranges more courses than last year, and the attendance is up.

So far this year (January to September), the University Library has organized 97 courses, with a total of 2193 participants. This amounts to an average of 22.6 participants per course. The corresponding figures for the same period last year was 86 courses with 1754 participants, an average of 20.4 participants.

There was a particularly large increase in September. We had 33 courses with 788 participants, an average of 23.4 participants per course. Last year the average was much lower: 16.6 participants per course (332 participants in 20 courses).

We are very pleased that our courses attract interest and reach a wide audience. We hope those of you attending our courses benefit greatly from them. We are very open to feedback on what works and what can be done better.

We remind you that we will organize more courses before Christmas, including courses on EndNote, on the 21st of October and 5th of November. From late October and throughout November there will be workshops in how to register scientific publications in Cristin, which we hope will be useful to scientific staff. See our course calendar for dates and more information.
