Your research is exciting! Share it with others!

The University library gives master students and PhD students the opportunity to tell about their research. We hope many of you will join!

We believe that a lot of the research done by master students and PhD students at UiS is of interest to a wide audience. Because of this, we plan a series of short lectures from master students and PhD students, in which they describe their ongoing research. What do they write about, and what have they discovered so far? What is the ultimate goal of the research?

Talks like these can be an inspiration to other students. We hope that many of you want to share your thoughts about your work, so that this can be a forum for sharing experiences. We are already planning lectures with a couple of master students that have contacted us, and we have place for many more!

Our plan is to have the first lecture in this series in September, in the University library on Ullandhaug. The lectures are intended to last 20 to 30 minutes, preferably with the opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

If you want to participate in this, please send an e-mail to

We look forward to enlightening lectures during the autumn, and especially to hearing about YOUR work!
