Prehistoric Paradigms of ‘Animalised’ Art

Jean-Marie Carey’s Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) fellowship project is called Prehistoric Paradigms of ‘Animalised’ Art from Modernist Visions of Utopia to Post-History (PreAniMod), supervised by Kristin Armstrong-Oma.

The project is financed by European Commission Grant Agreement 898439. Dr. Carey was also awarded a prestigious U.S.-Norway Fulbright Foundation award that expands the scope of her research, which concerns artistic interpretations of animals using the German aesthetic concepts of Einfühlung and Nachträglichkeit. PreAniMod includes the yearlong exhibition Eden and Everything After, collaborations with other museums, universities, and environmental humanities centres, and a cultural biography of Franz Marc.

Forhistoriske paradigmer og besjelet kunst

Jean-Marie Carey’s Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) fellowship prosjekt heter Prehistoric Paradigms of ‘Animalised’ Art from Modernist Visions of Utopia to Post-History (PreAniMod), og er veiledet av Kristin Armstrong-Oma. Prosjektet er finansiert av European Commission Grant Agreement 898439 . Dr. Carey ble også tildelt det prestisjefylte U.S.-Norway Fulbright Foundation award som utvider omfanget til hennes forskning, som handler om kunstneriske fortolkninger av dyr, og tar utgangspunkt i de tyske estetiske konseptene Einfühlung og Nachträglichkeit. PreAniMod har også utviklet utstillingen Eden and Everything After , og prosjektet er et samarbeid med andre museer, universiteter og miljø-humaniora sentre, og inkluderer en kulturell biografi av Franz Marc.
