I anledning vårt besøk fra Universitetet i Padova, inviterer Stavanger AI Lab i samarbeid med Smartby-nettverket til en åpen formiddagsforelesning om matematisk modellering av LoRa, en IoT-teknologi som er bredt brukt i forbindelse med smarte byer og ressursorkestrering av 5G-nettverksdeler. Det blir bespisning og mulighet for å stille spørsmål. Foredraget starter klokken 09.00 og varer fram mot lunsj. Foredraget finner sted i Kjølv Egelands hus, rom E-164.

Information in English: The ComNet research group from Stavanger AI Lab will be visited by the University of Padova on the 26th of November, because of the 5G-MODaNeI project, aiming to provide security and dependability in the management and orchestration of network and data resources in 5G Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC), which consists in a storage and computing platform at the edge of the 5G Radio Access Network.

Our guests will give an open guest lecture. Stavanger AI Lab and The research network for smart sustainable cities would like you to join us for the lecture, some refreshments and time for guestions and mingling.

Andrea Zanella is Professor at the Department of Information Engineering (DEI) of the University of Padova, where he is one of the coordinators of the SIGNET research lab. His research interests are mainly in wireless protocols and (conventional and unconventional) networks. He will give a talk about mathematical modelling of LoRa (a IoT technology widely used in smart city).

Federico Mason is a Ph.D. Student at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Padova

His research interest areTelecommunication networks and Deep Reinforcement Learning.
