Lab director Oddny Judith Solheim is professor in Special Educational Needs at the Norwegian Centre for Reading Education and Research, University of Stavanger.
Solheim specializes in the fields of engaging literacy instruction, reading- and writing difficulties and assessment of reading.
Solheim heads two large RCTs in Norwegian primary school. The On Track project test the efficacy of early intervention for students at risk for reading difficulties. The Two Teachers project investigates individual and complementary effects of increased teacher-student ratio and teacher professional development.
