Muk Chen Ong is a Professor in Marine Technology and Marine Operations at University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway and a member of Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences (NTVA). He is currently Strategic Research Area Leader for Ocean, Leader of Ocean Technology Innovation Cluster Stavanger, UiS EU Project Positioning Coordinator for Ocean Technology and Head of Marine and Subsea Technology Group at UiS. He is also an Associate Editor of ASME Journal of Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering, Editorial Board Members of Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers - Maritime Engineering, Journal of the Korean Society of Fisheries and Ocean Technology, and Ocean Systems Engineering (International Journal).
