Alina Meloyan

Alina is a Research Fellow in Innovation and Regional Studies at UiS Business School. 

Alina holds an Erasmus+ Joint Master Degree in Research and Innovation in Higher Education (MARIHE), carried out at the consortium of universities in Austria, Finland, China, and Germany. In her Master thesis she focused on the performance-based funding used in Finnish higher education to reduce time-to-degree. Alina also did another Master program in Cognitive and Gender Linguistics and a Bachelor in Teaching English & French at Kostanay State University, Kazakhstan.

Alina is a PhD candidate at the Department of Innovation, Management and Marketing, and she does research in the intersection of innovation and higher education studies. Her PhD project is Universities as Change Agents in Regional Innovation Ecosystems, supervised by Prof. Marte Cecilie Wilhelmsen Solheim and Prof. Rune Dahl Fitjar.
