I'm currently an Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (University of Stavanger). I am also leading Stavanger AI Laboratory (SAIL), the AI research network at the University of Stavanger.

Most of my research occurs within the fields of responsible AI and AI for decision-making, with a particular interest in healthcare and education applications. 

Some examples of on-going or past research projects can be found in my google scholar.

Akademisk bakgrunn

I hold a PhD in AI and oncological medical imaging, obtained at the University of Stavanger (Health faculty, Department of Quality and Health Technology). My educational background is in Telecommunications Engineering (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain), Computational Biomedical Engineering (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain) and Physics (Universitat de Barcelona, Spain) with mentions in the field of AI.
