Kort om meg

Diego G. Campos is an Associate Professor at the Knowledge Centre for Education (KSU) at the University of Stavanger. His research focuses on the methodological development of research synthesis, particularly meta-analysis and individual participant data meta-analysis (IPD-MA), and their application to the study of educational inequalities. His work examines how individual, family, and school factors shape educational outcomes, with a particular interest in digital competence and other key competencies for learning and participation in modern societies. He also investigates the use of AI-assisted tools to improve the efficiency, transparency, and reliability of systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

Dette forsker jeg på

I study how research syntheses can be developed and used to strengthen the evidence base in educational research. An important part of my work focuses on the methodological development of meta-analysis and individual participant data meta-analysis (IPD meta-analysis). I use these methods to investigate educational inequalities and how factors related to students, families, and schools influence learning outcomes. My research also examines digital competence and other key skills needed for learning and participation in modern societies. In addition, I work on developing and evaluating AI-assisted tools that can make systematic evidence syntheses more efficient, transparent, and reproducible.
