Dr. Nejm Saadallah er født i Alger, Algerie, i 1978. Han flyttet til Norge i 1998 hvor han mottok en mastergrad i datateknologi i 2005, og en PhD i 2013 fra [Universitetet i Stavanger]. Han er i dag førsteamanuensis i datateknologi ved UiS, hvor han underviser Operativsystemer og Systemprogrammering (DAT320), Algoritmeteori (DAT600), og veileder masteroppgaver innen datateknologi og datavitenskap. Han har også undervist Diskretsimulering (DAT530) og Distribuertesystemer (DAT520).

Han var tidligere seniorforsker ved [NORCE] hvor han jobbet med ulike forskningsprosjekter relatert til boreautomatisering, borerelatert databehandling og energisystemer.

Nejms forskningsinteresser er knyttet til design metoder for verifiserbare samtidige systemer, modellering av autonome kontrollsystemer, samt datadrevet systemidentifikasjon.

Dr. Nejm Saadallah was born in Algiers, Algeria, in 1978. He moved to Norway in 1998, where he earned a master's degree in Computer Science in 2005 and a PhD in 2013 from the [Universitetet i Stavanger]. He is currently an Associate Professor of Computer Science at UiS, where he teaches Operating Systems and System Programming (DAT320), Algorithm Theory (DAT600), and supervises master students in Computer Science and Data Science. He has also taught Discrete Simulation (DAT530) and Distributed Systems (DAT520).

Nejm was previously a Senior Researcher at [NORCE], where he worked on various research projects related to drilling automation, drilling-related data processing, and energy systems simulation.

Nejm's research interests include methods for designing verifiable concurrent systems, modeling autonomous control systems, and data-driven system identification.
