Thomas Laudal is an Associate Professor of  Business strategy and management at the University of Stavanger Business School. Laudal holds a PhD in Change Management (UiS, supervised by Oluf Langhelle and Colin Crouch) and brings over 14 years of research and teaching experience to his academic role, with particular expertise in institutional economics, the role of public goods, and sustainable business practices. Laudal is the author/editor of seven books on sustainable business practices and innovation, and has published twelve articles in peer-reviewed academic journals.

Laudal has 12 years of work experience before he became an academic researcher and teacher. Work places included the Norwegian Ministry of Industry, the European Commission and consultancy work in the oil and gas industry.  See publications
