In France, a distinction is made between universities and Grandes écoles. The latter are prestigious universities that often specialize in one field of study.

École Centrale de Nantes, or Centrale Nantes, is a grande ecole, a French engineering school establised in 1919. It delivers Graduate, Masters and PhD programmes based on the latest technological developments and the best management practices. Central Nates is known for a close coopertation with the industry, and is the top 250 best universities within Engineering and Technology.

Central Nates is situated in the heart of Nantes and two hours train from Paris.

English proficiency recommended at minimum B1 level for English (read upper-intermediate = 4 in English from "vgs" for Norwegian students). Please refer to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages for further information.

Erasmus + students are excepted from tuition fee

Scholarship

Erasmus+ in combination with loan and grant from Lånekassen for eligible students.
