Graduation Ceremony at the Norwegian Embassy for Russian student graduated from the Double MSc degree program “Offshore Field Development Technology”.

Graduation Ceremony for UiS students in Moscow Students and professors together with Ambassador Rune Resaland

On Monday 17/12/2018 the ceremony for the Russian students who graduated from the Double MSc degree program “Offshore Field Development Technology” took place in the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Moscow.

The ceremony was opened by the Norwegian Ambassador Rune Resaland and the Counsellor for Education, Science and Technology Radina Trengereid who congratulated the Russian students and the two universities, UiS and Gubkin.

From the Norwegian side Professor Tor Hemmingsen, Head of IMBM department, Professor Dimitrios Pavlou, study program Leader and Professor emeritus Ove Tobias Gudmestad attended the ceremony. The diplomas were awarded by the study program Leader.

From the Russian side the study program Leader Professor Anatoly Zolotukhin, Professor Vladimir Balitsky, and representatives from Gubkin Oil and Gas State University of Moscow and Gazpromneft attended the ceremony.

The Norwegian Ambassador and the speakers highlighted the importance of the Double MSc degree program for the education of the students and the collaboration of the two countries.
