"We knew we wanted an activity on the stand, and we wanted something people could interact with, and that would draw more people to the stand," says one of the project managers for this year's ONS, Mona Winge from IRIS.
A clean look
"It was decided early in the process that we wanted a clean stand, so I think the solution with one wall worked excellent" says Director of The National IOR Centre of Norway, professor Merete Vadla Madland.
"The game thus worked as an eye catcher, and we had lots of visitors at the stand," she explains.
Madland herself was part of the stand personnel, and enjoyed the positive feedback from visitors:
"I have only heard positive feedback, so I am very happy with ONS 2016," she says.
The stand was designed and made in collaboration with Hey Ho Let's Go and SixSides, with Tom Idland in charge of the oil recovery game.
"Even though we did not win, we are so happy to have been nominated. We have worked hard on this stand, and had to make some tough decisions along the way. In the end we could not be more happy," says Winge.
