Two UiS projects allocated NORPART grants!

Diku – Direktoratet for internasjonalisering og kvalitetsutvikling i høyere utdanning has recently published a list of projects that were allocated funding under the NORPART programme (Norwegian Partnership Programme for Global Academic Cooperation).

Two UiS projects allocated NORPART grants!

In total, Diku received 86 eligible applications from 17 higher education institutions in Norway. Approximately NOK 90 million was available for allocation in this year’s call for applications. The complete result of the application process can be found here. All selected projects will run for a period of five years from 2019-2023.

There were 2 projects selected from UiS:

  • "Cuban and Nordic Welfare" (coordinator: Professor Siv Oltedal, Department of Social Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences)
  • "Malawi-Norway Mobility Programme in Mathematics and Mathematics Education (MaNoMME)" coordinated by Professor Arne Jakobsen from the Department of Education and Sports Science, Faculty of ARts and Education

Congratulations to both coordinators and all involved in the project applications!
