Meet us at ONS 2018

University of Stavanger is very much present at ONS 2018. Meet us at stand #9424 in Hall 9 - just outside the Centre Court.

UiS stand

The University of Stavanger's vision is to be a driving force for knowledge development and societal change. To that end, we cooperate extensively with public and private sector institutions, in our own region and internationally.

Please visit us in our booth at ONS!

UiS is very active at ONS 2018. We aim to make new business connections and strengthen the bond with local businesses, as well as increasing the positive impact we have on the region. At our stand you can connect with researchers, find information on lifelong learning opportunities, and you can listen to our brand new podcasts.

The Sound of Science podcast series aims to:

  • provide insight into some important research areas
  • showcase UiS collaborations with the industry
  • offer views on how we can improve these relationships, and how we can help build competence suited for tomorrow's challenges

You are all welcome to our booth, where we will also invite selected guests do take part in live podcast recordings several times a day. Come listen to our science shows and let us listen to your needs for knowledge-based cooperation.

And another thing: While you are walking from hall to hall at the ONS venue, you might run into our floor-walking students. You can recognize them by their characteristic blue "Sound of science" coats.

The students are there to promote the university, so do not hesitate to engage them in conversation! If needed, they will guide you to our stand, where researchers will be ready to answer all your questions.

You can also find students from UiS at ONS Young, who will participate in many different activities.
