EU research and development unit

The EU R&D unit is a joint initiative between the University in Stavanger (UiS) and five other institutions in the region.

The EU R&D Unit/office was established in 2007 as a joint initiative between six institutions in South-Western Norway with a primary goal of boosting their participation in European research projects. The unit will provide services in order to help the owners to realise an increased success towards Horizon 2020.

The participants in the cooperation are:

  • Stavanger Hospital University (SUS)
  • Stord/Haugesund University College (HSH)
  • VID Specialized University
  • UNI Research Polytec

  • Partnering
  • Proposal and pre-award support
  • Contract management
  • Coordination of the Horisont Vest project
