The empirical focus is placed on practices of relevance to children in the early childhood education age group. The research group is interested in setting the concept of practice against other related concepts such as culture and text.
These concepts (practice, culture and text) are interpreted by the research group as relational and co-constructed entities. The understanding of learning of linguistic and literary practices and the actual concept of learning that the group is developing will consequently be viewed in connection with concepts that accentuate context and the co-construction of meaning.
