Education concerning sustainable development in ECEC institutions is a multidisciplinary and diverse field with ecological, economic, political and social dimensions and extremely wide-ranging opportunities for exploration and research partnerships.
Physical education and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) form part of this entity that helps to expand the perspectives and diversity of learning cultures. Within the research field, work will be carried out on both an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary basis, and emphasis will also be placed on further study within the individual subject areas.
Environment, place, cultural diversity, understanding of nature, health and corporeality are important key words for practice-oriented research in this context.
