Qualifying teachers in teacher education and schools

This is a collaborative project with funding from the Norwegian Research Council.

The Center for Studies of Professions, University College of Oslo, Faculty of Teacher Education at Volda College, and researchers at the Institute for teacher education and the Center for Behavioural Research at the University of Stavanger have designed this project which lasts from 2006-2010.

It consists of three subprojects which when combined study effects on the qualification process from students and teacher educators in college and university as well as practice schools and schools where novice teachers are eventually employed.

National teacher educator surveys will be developed and conducted.
