Michael Storper

Michael Storper is Professor of Economic Geography, Economic Sociology, and Urban Planning at no less than three world leading universities: The London School of Economics, Sciences Po in Paris and the University of California, Los Angeles. His book The Regional World (1997) is one of the most influential contributions to the literature on regional development, and his latest book Keys to the City (2013) is also set to make a big impact. He is a fellow of the British Academy and received the Sir Peter Hall Award for outstanding overall achievements in the field of regional studies in 2012.
