In addition, individuals will be able to formulate strategies and have the key fundamental knowledge to develop, manage and implement technology within the oil industry.

The programme, which has been developed in close collaboration with the oil industry, qualifies for a broad range of positions within drilling and production, both operators and service companies. The programme qualifies the candidate for other industry positions where drilling is performed, such as mining, underground water and geothermal applications.

RESERVOIR ENGINEERING:
Successful candidates from this programme will be able to design and plan exploitation of oil and gas fields and to analyze and solve different reservoir engineering problems. In addition, individuals will be able to formulate strategies and have the key fundamental knowledge to develop, manage and implement technology within the oil industry.

The programme has been developed in close collaboration with the oil industry and qualifies for a broad range of positions within reservoir engineering, both with operators and service companies.

NATURAL GAS ENGINEERING:
Candidates completing the Natural Gas Engineering programme may find interesting work opportunities in the whole gas chain "from reservoir to kitchen". Basic knowledge in gas related subjects is a prerequisite in the development of future energy sources, supply and management.

The programme is focusing on up- and midstream activities, while less attention is given to downstream activities. The study has been developed in close cooperation between academia and international gas industry.
