The MSc programme in Petroleum Geosciences Engineering, developed in close collaboration with the petroleum industry, is uniquely focused on the blending of geosciences and engineering for the specific needs of petroleum exploration and production.

A graduate of this program will be able to solve geoscientific problems by integrating surface and subsurface data and to integrate such information with petroleum engineers. In addition, they will be able to formulate strategies and will have the key fundamental knowledge to develop, manage, and implement technology. Graduates are qualified for a broad range of positions within the petroleum industry and other industries where both engineering and geosciences are applied.
