Erasmus Mundus in Social Work with Families and Children

The MFAMILY Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programme enhances your knowledge and your skills needed for working with interventions for vulnerable children and marginalized families. You earn an education that provides unique knowledge and innovative competences for international comparative child and family social work. Furthermore, you explore the latest research and practices on social work interventions for vulnerable children and families.

This two-year programme is jointly developed by ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), Portugal; University of Gothenburg (UGOT), Sweden; University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway and Makerere University (MU), Uganda. You spend the first semester Lisbon, Portugal, the second semester in Stavanger, Norway and the third semester in Gothenburg, Sweden before moving to one of the partner institutions to work on your master’s thesis.

The language of instruction for the programme is English. Upon completion of the programme, you are awarded a joint degree by the MFAMILY consortium.

With the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
