Nasjonalt vitenarkiv (NVA) has been delayed once again
Nasjonalt Vitenarkiv (NVA) was originally scheduled to launch in November, but it has been further delayed.
After a trial period for all the institutions that will be using the NVA, it became clear that there are still errors and that improvements are needed before the system can be implemented.
Sikt is not yet able to provide an estimate for the delay's duration, but they hope to complete the project by 2025.
We will provide updates as soon as we have more information.
Nasjonalt vitenarkiv
NVA will replace both Cristin and the local institutional repositories, which in our case is UiS Brage.
"The service provides an overview of Norwegian research, makes the publications openly available and facilitates the reuse of metadata" (Sikt).
You can register your scientific publications in Cristin until October
You can register articles, book chapters and books until October. Conference contributions and academic presentations can also be registered during the period. After that, there will be a few weeks where Cristin will be closed before you can register in NVA.
If you want to register dissemination or other activities in Cristin, contact the library by e-mail. You will receive help and guidance when NVA is available.
