Professional Skill BootCamp (MSB001)

At the start of the master’s program, students will have an opportunity to attend a BootCamp. During the BootCamp, students will participate in sessions designed to set them up for successful completion of their master’s degree and learn essential skills for today’s work life—how to negotiate like a professional, and how to bring the best out of teams.

On completion of this course, you will have been introduced to the theory and practice several business functions and responsibilities, and should meet the following learning outcomes:

  • Describe factors that affect communication, collaboration, and processes in teamwork
  • Compare different approaches to negotiation
  • Discuss the essential conditions to establish a successful team
  • Identify different leadership styles and how they can affect team performance
  • Describe techniques to manage group dynamics and conflict

Course assessment
